After DarioAfter Dario (published July 2014) – Succession from Dario Gradi to Steve Davis took Crewe Alexandra fans on another incredible journey. There was Play-off glory and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy triumph at Wembley, high-profile player sales, pre-season chaos and an almighty relegation scrap. Roller-coaster ride is the most over-used but apt cliché. Buy on Amazon HERE.

SHE WORE A SCARLET RIBBON is one fan’s ongoing journey in cahoots with Mistress Alexandra. From boy to man, home and away, the good, bad and the ugly, the sublime to the down right ridiculous. front cover as a jpegCrewe And Its People (published in hardback, September 2009) – Step into the lives of forty Crewe people and explore childhood memories, triumph, heartache, and the special moments that have defined a town’s history. From teachers, musicians and factory workers, to politicians, historians and engine drivers. CREWE AND ITS PEOPLE criss-crosses lives just as the labyrinth of rail lines still defines the proud, hard-working Cheshire town...

The Gradi Years (published in August 2000) – Dario Gradi: “We will go where our players take us, not get the players to go where we want to go. That’s an accepted maxim at the club.” A simple philosophy that has served Crewe Alexandra well and taken this modest Cheshire club to the highest level of football in its history. Since Dario Gradi’s arrival in 1983, the Alex have made incredible progress. Investing time and effort in youth has paid dividends at Gresty Road, and could yet take the club still further. The Gradi Years celebrates this transformation and tracks the key events and people who have made it all possible.
